How does registration with itsme work?

Registering with itsme is a quick and secure way to create your account and verify your identity at the same time.

Select “Register with itsme” during registration. You will be redirected to the itsme app to confirm your identity. Once identification is successfully completed, the information required to create your account is securely shared with us and used automatically as part of the registration process.

Your details are checked against the relevant Belgian regulatory authorithies. If the verification is successful, your account is automatically created and verified. You do not need to upload an identity card, passport or any other identification document.
